As a photographer I use light room a lot. What I have changed on these photos is the saturation and clarity and many other editing effects. I have done filters to make it black and white and I have also made it black and white and then erased the black and white on some parts to make whatever I have erased  to pop out more. Yes, I am pleased with my background and yes, I did pay attention to the subject. My favorite photo the I edited would have to be the solar eclipse one! I like this one the most because the detail that I have given it is really cool and makes it pop more then the original photo. I did a lot of shading on this one because it looked like it need it to bring out the main focal point. My least favorite photo is the black and white photo of the lake because it is very plain and its just boring and I couldn't do much with it. What i'm going to do to improve my future photos are going to be , try all the effects and see what works the best with the photo or just do what I like other then what my friend may like or so fourth. In conclusion, I have had a good experience in light room and I am excited to move furth with future photos!
